Every car is different. Once we have looked at the paint, we put together what makes sense, from preserving value in everyday use to preparing a car for sale.

Exterior

A gentle hand wash, removal of iron fallout, tar and industrial dust, plus wheels, gaps and details.

Paint polishing

We remove swirls, holograms and fine scratches in several polishing stages. The result is genuine gloss, not filler that disappears after a few washes.

Ceramic coating

A hard, thin protective layer with strong water beading. The paint stays clean for longer and is easier to look after.

Interior

On request, deep cleaning of upholstery, carpets and plastics, and care for leather and Alcantara.

Guide

Is a ceramic coating worth it?

A ceramic coating forms a very thin, hard protective layer on the clear coat. The surface becomes smoother and water-repellent: dirt struggles to stick, rain beads off and washing is quicker. It also protects against UV light and aggressive contaminants such as bird droppings or tree sap.

The preparation is what matters. A coating preserves the paint in the condition it is in when the coating is applied. That is why we usually combine it with a thorough clean and, depending on the condition, a polish. How long it lasts depends on the product and on the care that follows. With the right care, several years are typical.

Ceramic or paint protection film?

Ceramic protects chemically and brings gloss and easy care, but it does not help against stone chips. For that, XPEL paint protection film is the right choice. The two work well together: film on the exposed areas, ceramic on the rest and on top of the film.

When we take in your car, we draw up a condition report with photos. You can cancel appointments free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.
If the paint thickness is not sufficient for the booked stage, we tell you before continuing; we only change the scope with your consent.

All prices in euros including 19% VAT. The price list is not yet a binding offer; “from” prices are minimum prices for vehicles in normal condition. We confirm the binding price based on photos or an inspection before you place your order. Third-party costs only as agreed and against receipts. Our terms and conditions apply.

Questions about detailing

How much does detailing with a ceramic coating cost?

A ceramic coating with a one-stage polish costs €649 to €849 depending on the vehicle class, and full interior and exterior detailing €349 to €469. For more worn paint we recommend multi-stage correction. Based on photos or a look at the car, you receive a binding fixed price. All prices are in the price list.

Do you offer detailing and paint protection for customers from Hanover?

Yes. From Wedemark we offer paint polishing, ceramic coating, interior detailing and XPEL paint protection film, including directly on delivery of a new car. Most of our customers come from Hanover and the surrounding region.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

That depends on the product and the care. With hand washing using a pH-neutral shampoo and no brush car washes, several years are typical.

How long does detailing take?

An interior and exterior detail is often quick. Multi-stage polishing with a ceramic coating takes several days, depending on the condition and the curing time. We give you the schedule in advance.

Should I have a new car coated?

With a new car it is particularly worthwhile: the paint is still free of wash scratches, and the protection works from day one.

What is the difference between ceramic and paint protection film?

Ceramic provides gloss, water beading and easy care. Paint protection film also protects against stone chips and scratches. The two combine well.

Do you also prepare cars for sale?

Yes. A well-kept car makes a much better first impression in photos and at viewings.
