A good listing is no substitute for an inspection
Photos and descriptions show what the seller wants you to see. With more expensive used cars in particular, small details can mean a lot of money: an undisclosed respray, a major service coming up or an entry in the fault memory.
Our report gives you confidence in your decision and a factual basis for negotiating the price. Defects we find are often a good argument for a reduction.

- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the appointment.
- If the seller does not show up or the car is not available, we agree a new date or end the order. We do not charge for inspections not carried out; travel costs only if expressly agreed in advance.
- The online pre-check is credited if you book an inspection of the same car within 14 days. For the express check, the surcharge does not apply if the 48 hours fail because of the seller.
All prices in euros including 19% VAT. The price list is not yet a binding offer; “from” prices are minimum prices for vehicles in normal condition. We confirm the binding price based on photos or an inspection before you place your order. Third-party costs only as agreed and against receipts. Our terms and conditions apply.

Questions about the pre-purchase inspection
How much does an on-site pre-purchase inspection cost?
Within 50 km of Wedemark €179, anywhere in Germany within 300 km €349, and €449 for sports cars, electric cars and classics. It is a fixed price you know before the inspection. All packages are in the price list.
Do I need to be there for the inspection?
No. We agree the appointment with the seller and inspect the car on site. You receive the results as a report with photos and can ask us anything afterwards.
How quickly will I get the result?
Usually shortly after the inspection. We will tell you the exact timing when we arrange the appointment.
Do you also inspect cars abroad?
Yes, throughout Germany and elsewhere in Europe. For long distances in particular, it makes sense to combine the inspection with purchase handling and transport.
Does the report help with price negotiations?
Yes. Documented defects, resprays or upcoming servicing give you a factual basis for negotiation. If you wish, we negotiate for you.
Can you also buy and deliver the car after the inspection?
Yes. After a good inspection we support you through purchase and payment and, if you wish, bring the car to your front door, open or enclosed.
