    Complete vehicles

Independent, tied to no brand

We are neither a dealer nor an official partner of any tuning brand. That is why we recommend what suits your car, your use and your budget, and we tell you when an upgrade is not worth it.

You buy parts and conversions directly from the manufacturer or its authorised partner, and they fit them too. That keeps type reports, warranty and responsibility where they belong.

  • Only parts with general type approval (ABE), EC approval or a type report
  • Fitted by the manufacturer or its authorised partner
  • Effects on warranty and insurance clarified beforehand
  • Parts and third-party costs shown separately from our fee

Process

How your project works

  1. Step 01

    Conversation

Your car, your wishes, how you use it and your budget. Photos and the registration document help. We tell you honestly what makes sense.

  2. Step 02

    Concept and quote

Suitable manufacturers and parts, approvals, effects on warranty, dates and all costs. Our fee as a fixed price.

  3. Step 03

    Conversion

Transport to the manufacturer or partner and back, enclosed if you wish. The work is carried out there.

  4. Step 04

    Registration and handover

Inspection by the testing organisation, entry in the vehicle documents and paint protection on request. Then the car is yours again.

Guide

Registration, warranty and insurance

In Germany, parts that modify a vehicle need a general type approval (ABE), an EC approval or a type report (Teilegutachten). With a type report, a testing organisation such as TÜV or DEKRA inspects the installation and the change is then entered in the vehicle documents. Extensive conversions need an individual inspection.

Without the required inspection, the vehicle's operating licence can lapse, and with it the insurance cover. That is why we only support work that can be registered and plan inspection and registration from the start.

Warranty

On new and nearly new cars, a modification can restrict the manufacturer's warranty for the parts affected, especially with a performance upgrade. Some specialists offer their own warranties. We clarify what applies to your car and tell you in writing before you place the order.

Insurance and leasing

Report modifications to your insurer, especially performance upgrades and value-enhancing parts. For leased or financed cars, the owner's consent is usually required. Details are in our terms, § 8b.

Questions

Questions about tuning and upgrades

Are you an official partner of Akrapovič, ABT, Brabus or Mansory?

No. We are independent and tied to no brand. The names are given here as examples. You buy parts and conversions from the manufacturer or its authorised partner; we advise, organise and support the project.

What does your support cost?

We agree our fee as a fixed price before the project starts, depending on scope and effort. You pay for parts and fitting directly to the manufacturer or partner, inspection and registration fees as receipted, and transport according to our price list. You see all costs before you place the order.

Does tuning have to be registered?

That depends on the part. With an ABE or EC approval, carrying the papers is often enough; with a type report, an inspection by a testing organisation and an entry in the documents are needed. We only support work that can be registered and plan this from the start.

Does tuning void the warranty?

Not automatically, but the manufacturer's warranty can be restricted for the parts affected, especially with a performance upgrade. Some specialists offer their own warranties. We tell you in writing what applies to your car before you place the order.

Do I need to inform my insurer?

Yes. Report modifications to your insurer, especially performance upgrades and value-enhancing parts. Otherwise there may be problems in the event of a claim.

Is this possible with a leased car?

Only with the lessor's consent. Many lease contracts also require the original condition at return. Clarify this before the conversion; we are happy to help with the request.

Do you fit the parts yourselves?

No. The parts are fitted by the manufacturer or its authorised partner. That keeps type reports, warranty and responsibility where they belong.

Can I have a new car upgraded straight away?

Yes. You buy the car through our new car brokerage, we plan the conversion right after delivery and bring the car to you in an enclosed transporter. For complete vehicles from a specialist, we make the contact and support the purchase.

Can I use the winter break for a conversion?

Yes. If your car is in storage with us, we schedule the appointment with the manufacturer during that time and organise the transport there and back.
